Forms of Payment

Rent and other charges can be paid using any of the following forms of payment:

• Cashier’s Check (Free at Independence Bank, 2425 Frederica St., when you have cash)
• Debit Card
• Credit Card
• Personal Check
• Money Order

Automatic Payments

Sign up to have your monthly rent payment automatically charged to your debit or credit card or withdrawn from your bank account. To sign up for automatic payment, please come to the HAO office with your driver’s license, and the card to be charged or a voided check for the bank account.

If a card transaction is denied due to insufficient funds, all future payments must be made with a cashier’s check or money order.  A late fee will be assessed if full payment is not received prior to the end of business on the 5th day of the month.  Additionally, any fees assessed to HAO Properties for a returned card transaction will be passed along to the tenant.
